Set up Personal Intelligence
This page explains the main steps. Exact installation commands, client configuration and current examples are maintained on GitHub.
Installation instructions on GitHub ↗Personal Intelligence gives your assistant a structured way to use the information you already have. The package contains two skills and an offline validation toolkit. Your existing integrations supply access.
What you need
An assistant that supports skills, authorized access to the sources you choose, and a private location for your source map and configuration. Version 0.1.0 documents Codex installation; other clients remain unverified. Python 3.10 or later is needed only for the optional offline validation toolkit.
The setup at a glance
- Install the two skills. Follow the repository’s installation instructions for your client.
- Map what you need. Use the setup skill to capture requirements, source authority and access boundaries before building routes. Keep configuration outside the shared repository.
- Check useful questions. Validate the configuration, then compare answers in your selected domains against their actual sources. Keep evaluation results private.
- Ask from evidence. Use the answering skill with a specific question and your private profile. Look for citations and clear limits when a source is unavailable.
Keep the scope clear
Health questions specify a patient. Financial questions specify the account or deliberate account group, topic and date scope. Email uses its chosen provider’s dedicated integration. The package adds no accounts, background collection or write tools.
Your assistant may process relevant information through its model provider. Review your client’s settings and the sources you choose before using sensitive information.
MoneyWiz MCP Server is an optional, separately installed companion for read-only ledger evidence.
